First thing I did when I bought mine new in 98 was go to NAPA and get some real fuel line. My bike came from Japan with vacuum tubing instead of pressure safe fuel line, and most other Japanese bikes made there do as well. Only asian metrics that don't are made in the USA and are named Honda.
